Career Fair Overview
Get ready for Dream Con’s Premiere Career Fair! The Career Fair will take place the entire weekend of July 26 - 28, 2024 at the Austin Convention Center. At our Career Fair, you'll be able to learn about new opportunities and connect with some of your favorite companies. There will also be resources on how to take your career to the next level or start a new path altogether.
Because of the nature of our convention, our career fair is a come-as-you-are! Candidates will be in cosplay, shorts, or flip flops, etc. Digital Resumes will also be welcomed.
What to Expect
Dream Con is partnering with Pearl, a career advancement platform intended to help job seekers land opportunities at Dream Con 2024. It’s a one stop shop for intentional recruiting and networking!
Attendees are able to easily create professional portfolios, add their work, social links, and resumes before the career fair begins.
Attendees will use the Pearl Platform to apply for available jobs & employers can engage with attendees before and after the convention.
After the Career Fair, a list of attendees with contact information will be accessible to all employers through the Pearl platform. It’s a one stop shop for intentional recruiting and networking.
For Attendees
Attendees are able to upload/create new resumes, portfolios, and interact with recruiters before the career fair begins.
Sign-Up Instructions:
- Join Dream Con on Pearl
- Create your account by entering your information listed from the link or directly connect your LinkedIn with sign-up
- Once you’ve created your account, begin to explore our Dream Con landing page
- Begin to build your portfolio or add your resume (Don’t forget to check our jobseeker checklist)
For Potential Partners
Recruiters can review resumes, portfolios, and profiles posted by Dream Con attendees, add jobs, and schedule interviews before the career fair begins.
