The Austin Convention Center is approximately 247,000 square feet. There will be ample amounts of activity throughout its entirety. To ensure you enjoy your time efficiently enjoyed with all Dream Con has to offer, here are several venues within the convention where you can partake:

Exhibit Hall:

Attendees can find and buy a lot of different anime-related items in the Exhibit Hall, which is always a busy and exciting place at conventions and the biggest area as well. This market is full of life and has something for everyone, from the newest releases to rare collectibles to one-of-a-kind handmade things. From anime wardrobes to swords, you will find it here. You may even cross paths with your favorite guest!

Artist Alley:

The Artist Alley is a lively and creative area where independent artists and creators can show off and sell their work. The Artist Alley offers a variety of items, including original artwork such as high-quality prints and posters featuring characters from different anime, as well as handmade crafts like stuffed animals, keychains, jewelry, and other trinkets. You can even ask some artists for commissions!

Events:

Dream Con will hold events with notable guests and voice performances. Main and special events will be hosted by big name influencers, including game shows, tournaments, concerts, contests, and panels. These events feature exclusive programming and foster anime community interaction.

Panels:

Talent panels are one of the most enjoyable parts of conventions as these sessions let fans talk to people who work in the industry, find out what goes on behind the scenes, and learn more about their favorite fandoms. Lecture, discussions, tutorials, workshops, performances, podcasts, screenings, game shows, and interactive events are the type of panels that will be taking place. These events can last anywhere from an hour to all day!

There is a Cosplay Contest where judges evaluate cosplayers based on criteria like craftsmanship and presentation. Plan to attend, and you may see someone cosplaying as your favorite character!

There are lots of fun and different games to play at Dream Con, whether you're a serious gamer or just want to have some fun. Console gaming such as PlayStation, Xbox and the Nintendo Switch can include games that range from fighting to racing. If you are competitive, you will also have the chance to sign up to compete against some of the best players around and win prize money! If you’re more of a tabletop gamer, there will be opportunities to play casual matches like Yu-Gi-Oh and Dungeons & Dragons.
