Shawn “Solo” Fonteno

Shawn “Solo” Fonteno is an American actor and rapper best known for his voice and performance capture work as Franklin Clinton, co-protagonist of the blockbuster game, Grand Theft Auto V. In 2021, Solo reprised his role of Franklin in Grand Theft Auto Online for The Contract, the acclaimed update featuring Dr Dre. Born and raised in Watts, Shawn’s life experiences growing up in South Central Los Angeles were the subject of his 2022 memoir, Game Changer.
