Dream Con 2024 Highlights

Dream Con 2024 was a whirlwind of excitement, creativity, and unforgettable memories! Held in the vibrant city of Austin, Texas, this year's convention brought together thousands of fans from all walks of life to celebrate their shared passions for anime, gaming, and pop culture.

In case you missed it, here are some of the highlights from the weekend:

• Star-Studded Guests: Dream Con 2024 boasted an impressive lineup of talent, but we also ran into a few surprise guests, from creators to celebrities. Some of these surprises included sWoozie, O’Shea Jackson Jr., and Dreamville’s Earth Gang.  We even had a special guest appearance from rapper Sexyy Red! Dreamers had the opportunity to attend panels, participate in meet and greets, and snag pics with their favorite personalities.
• Epic Cosplay: The cosplay scene at Dream Con 2024 was nothing short of spectacular. Attendees showcased their incredible craftsmanship and creativity, transforming themselves into iconic characters from anime, video games, and movies. The cosplay community truly stole the show, from intricate armor to elaborate costumes.
• Gaming Extravaganza: For gaming enthusiasts, Dream Con 2024 offered many opportunities to indulge in their favorite pastimes. The convention featured a massive gaming hall filled with the latest consoles, virtual reality experiences, classic arcade cabinets, and competitive tournaments. Whether you were a casual gamer or a hardcore enthusiast, there was something for everyone to enjoy. And we can’t forget the frequently-visited RPG and tabletop gaming rooms!
• Exhibit Hall: The exhibit hall was a treasure trove for collectors and fans of original artwork. Talented artists and hobbyists from across the state and country showcased their unique creations, including prints, comics, and custom-made merch. Attendees had the chance to discover both new and long standing favorite creators..
• Engaging Panels and Workshops: Dream Con 2024 offered various panels and workshops covering topics from industry insights to professional development. Whether you were interested in learning about the art of voice acting, exploring the world of cosplay, or discussing the latest trends in gaming, there was something to pique your interest.
• New Events: We also can’t forget some of the new programming we introduced this year, including a Film Fest, YouTube Dreamers Lounge, Comedy Show, Music Showcase, and a Career Fair.

Dream Con 2024 was a truly magical experience that united nearly 23,000 Dreamers to celebrate their passions! With an incredible lineup of guests, captivating cosplay, and engaging events, this year's convention was a resounding success. We can't wait to see what surprises Dream Con 2025 has in store for us!
